Studies are a new thing for me.
After all these years, I never considered that taking a little focused time to play before a large artwork would help me get to know the final piece better.
Each of these studies was made using a slightly differing limited palette, all colors that I pulled from my reference photo. Each one highlights the caddywampus arrangement of a mid-meal moment.

These are limited originals, there are only four, and each one is framed in a dusty pink glazed frame.
